De compensatiekoppelingen uit de JA (standaard) en JAH (versterkte) serie kunnen elke "excentriciteit" of "verlies van parallelliteit" tussen de cilinder en het aangedreven lichaam opvangen. Hierdoor is opnieuw centreren niet meer nodig, wordt de installatietijd drastisch verkort en is een hoge machinenauwkeurigheid niet meer nodig.
